On Thursday, August 21st, I'll be appearing on Insights on PBS Hawaii at 8pm to talk about my race for Honolulu City Council. I'll have the opportunity to share why our community deserves someone who's from the district, someone who understands the every day challenges we face, and why I feel I'm the most qualified to represent you on the Honolulu City Council.
The roundtable discussion with myself, my opponent, and host Mahealani Richardson will run in the second half of the show on Thursday, August 21st at 8pm. You can watch it on Channel 10 or online via live stream. Questions and comments are welcomed via phone (808.973.1000), via email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or via Twitter (@PBSHawaii). You can also follow along with the conversation on Twitter with #pbsinsights.
I'll have the opportunity to share why our community deserves to be represented by someone who was born and raised in the district, someone who understands the every day challenges we face, and why I feel I'm the most qualified to represent you on the Honolulu City Council.
I also look forward to sharing what I've been hearing from residents since walking the district in January. It's clear that District 4 residents are concerned about their families and creating a vibrant and thriving Honolulu.
With your continued support, the following three priorities will be our agenda for putting our community first:
Safety of our public spaces for everyone: Our parks, streets, beaches, and sidewalks should be clean and accessible for everyone. This means addressing other relevant issues, specifically how we fund the maintenance of these spaces and addressing homelessness head on.
